Abstract
Job stress and individual characteristics are things that can affect performance. This study aims to examine the concept of job stress and its characteristics individual on employee performance. The population in this study is Driver Shopee Food Surabaya, while the sample in this study was taken from the population namely shopee food drivers, totaling 98 respondents. By using survey method as a data collection method. Analysis techniques in research This method uses structural equation modeling and partial least squares (PLS) as an analytical tool. This study found that the higher the work stress (X1), the higher the contribution to the decreased performance of shopee food drivers (Y) and individual characteristics (X2) contribute which the better the individual characteristics, the better the better the performance of shopee food Surabaya drivers (Y) Keywords: Work Stress, Individual Characteristics, Performance
