Abstract

Turnover intention is an important human resource management issue, particularly in tourism service companies that depend on employee availability to maintain service quality. This study examines the effects of recommendation-based recruitment, work environment, and workload on employee turnover intention at CV. Mavindo Global Vakansi. A quantitative approach was employed using primary questionnaire data and saturated sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through outer and inner model evaluation. The measurement model met validity and reliability criteria. The R-square value of turnover intention was 0.625, indicating adequate explanatory capability. Recommendation-based recruitment showed a negative direction of effect, work environment had a negative and significant effect, while workload had a positive but statistically non-significant relationship based on the T-statistic. The findings highlight the importance of appropriate recruitment practices and a supportive work environment in employee retention strategies.
