Abstract

The ongoing decline in employee performance has become a crucial organizational challenge for PT Inovasi Teknologi Solusindo (Trustmedis) in recent times. This study employed a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique involving 58 permanent employees as respondents. Primary data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire, supplemented by in-depth interviews and field observations. These data were then analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling using SmartPLS software. The results indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while compensation has a positive and significant effect. Both variables contribute significantly to explaining variations in employee performance, confirming that workload management and compensation systems are key determinants of productivity. These findings indicate the importance of restructuring workload distribution more proportionally and adjusting compensation systems to improve employee performance. Keywords: Workload; Compensation; Employee Performance
