Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of tourist motivation and typology on the decision to use the Jakarta Explore Bus transportation services. This study used a quantitative approach. The population of this study was tourists who used Jakarta Explorer Bus services within the past year. A sample of 100 respondents was used. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-based questionnaire and then analyzed statistically using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis yielded a regression equation of Y = 5.985 + 0.561₁ + 0.256₂. The F-test results indicate that the variables of tourist motivation and typology simultaneously have a significant influence on the decision to use the service. Meanwhile, the t-test results demonstrate that tourist motivation significantly influences the decision to use services, as does the tourist typology variable. The coefficient of determination test results indicate that tourist motivation and typology influence the decision to use the Jakarta Explorer bus transportation service by 67%, while 33% of the decision to use the service is influenced by factors other than the study variables.
