Abstract
Indonesia, as an archipelagic country rich in natural and cultural resources, has great potential for tourism development, including ecotourism that emphasizes environmental sustainability and the well-being of local communities. One potential destination is the Mangrove Hijau Daun Ecotourism Area on Bawean Island, Gresik Regency, which offers natural beauty while playing an important role in maintaining coastal ecosystem balance. This study aims to identify visitor characteristics, analyze satisfaction levels, and determine attributes that need improvement to enhance visitor satisfaction. The research was conducted from July to August 2025 using a survey method with 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, involving visitors aged 17–65 years who had visited at least twice. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, field documentation, and literature review. Data analysis employed descriptive analysis, the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results show that most visitors were female, aged 17–24 years, students, earning less than Rp1.000.000, originating from Bawean Island, unmarried, and visiting for recreation. The CSI value of 82,05% indicates that visitors were very satisfied. Based on the IPA analysis, priority improvements include the tracking path, bridge condition, promotional information, parking availability, and staff friendliness.
