Abstract
GenBI UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur faces significant challenges in managing member activity points due to manual processes, spanning from point recording, submission validation, and activity registration to member progress monitoring. These conditions lead to operational inefficiencies, a lack of transparency, and a high potential for data inaccuracies. Furthermore, low transparency regarding point progression negatively impacts member motivation and optimal participation. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based Activity Point Management Information System for GenBI UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur using the Laravel framework and a gamification approach. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, an iterative and collaborative approach executed in two development iterations involving UML modeling, database and interface design, implementation, and testing. The system architecture utilizes the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern. Key implemented features include activity management, point submission and validation, monitoring dashboards, activity logbooks, and gamification elements such as leaderboards, badges, and progress bars. System evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The Black Box Testing results confirm that all system functionalities operate according to requirements, while the UAT yielded a score of 88.13%, placing it in the "Excellent" category and indicating high user acceptance. In conclusion, the developed system effectively enhances efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and member participation within GenBI UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur.
