Abstract
This study aims to systematically describe the visual design elements of the User Interface (UI) on the Tokopedia platform, including aspects of color, typography, icons, layout, and visual hierarchy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method with the theory proposed by Lidwell, Holden, and Butler (2010), data collection techniques are carried out through several things such as visual observation, documentation, and display classification. The results of the study indicate that the appearance of the Tokopedia User Interface (UI) is built through a relatively consistent integration between various visual components, such as the use of color, typography, icons, layout, and visual hierarchy. Each visual element is not displayed separately or stand alone, but rather interconnected and function simultaneously in forming an interface display structure that is organized, systematic, and easy to understand by users. The use of icons as visual symbols in the Tokopedia User Interface (UI) plays a role in helping clarity of navigation and simplifying the process of user interaction with the application. The icons used tend to be simple and familiar to users, so that the function of each icon can be recognized quickly without having to read the explanatory text in detail. This makes the process of using the application more practical and efficient. Keywords: User Interface, Tokopedia, Elements, Visual.
