Abstract

The Sudin Kominfotik Jakarta Timur is a public service agency that plays a strategic role in ensuring the implementation of public information transparency in the East Jakarta region. As part of Jakarta City, which has a large population and a high level of social dynamics, public demands for information transparency are increasing. This condition has given rise to various forms of public unrest and a surge in requests for information that demand an effective, measurable, and sustainable communication response. In this context, the Public Relations of the Sudin Kominfotik Jakarta Timur bears an important responsibility in building a good governance image. This study aims to examine and analyze the Public Relations strategy implemented by the Public Relations of the Sudin Kominfotik Jakarta Timur in responding to the demand for public information transparency. The research problem formulation focuses on how the Public Relations strategy of the Sudin Kominfotik Jakarta Timur realizes the principles of good governance in the era of public information transparency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, while data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews with relevant informants. The results show that the Public Relations of the Sudin Kominfotik Jakarta Timur implements a Public Relations strategy consisting of four main stages. The first stage is the collection of initial data through media monitoring on social media. The planning phase includes developing educational and informative content, producing the "Sapa Timoer" podcast, and implementing collaborative strategies with various regional agencies. The implementation phase includes distributing digital content, public information disclosure programs at the sub-district level, producing podcasts, and providing information through the Public Information and Communications Agency (PPID). The final phase, which involves periodic evaluation through media monitoring and open discussions with the community, serves as the basis for developing communication strategies for the following period.
