Abstract
Klotok Village, Plumpang District is one of the largest melon producing areas in Indonesia. The high melon yield is proportional to the high use of NPK 161616 fertilizer as the main fertilizer in melon cultivation. However, there is still not much research that specifically evaluates how farmers view the attributes of the fertilizers they use, especially in terms of quality, price, and ease of obtaining the fertilizer in Klotok Village, Tuban District. The objective of this study is to analyze the attitudes of melon farmers toward the attributes of NPK 161616 fertilizer and the attributes that need to be improved for melon farmers in Klotok Village, Plumpang Subdistrict, Tuban. The study used 40 melon farmers as the sample, selected using the saturation sampling technique. The data analysis methods used were the MultiAttribute Fishbein Model, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the analysis using the Multi-Attribute Fishbein Model yielded a total score of 176.19, indicating that melon farmers' attitudes fall into the positive category. The results of the analysis using CSI yielded a value of 70.20%, indicating that farmers are satisfied with the NPK 161616 fertilizer attribute. The analysis using IPA identified attributes in Quadrant I, namely accessibility, price, and product quality, meaning these attributes need to be improved by the NPK 161616 fertilizer producer.
