Abstract

Digitalization in the Indonesian financial sector continues to accelerate, one of which is through the implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) by Bank Indonesia. However, the level of QRIS adoption among Generation Z, especially in Sidoarjo Regency, is not yet optimal and is influenced by a number of factors. This study aims to test the influence of risk perception and digital literacy on QRIS adoption, with trust as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a random sampling technique on 100 Generation Z respondents aged 18 to 28 years who reside in Sidoarjo Regency and have used QRIS in the last three months. In collecting data, the study used a survey method with a questionnaire using a Likert scale. In data processing, the path analysis method was used with partial least square (PLS4). The results of the study showed that risk perception and digital literacy contributed to increasing QRIS adoption. Meanwhile, trust does not play a role in strengthening or weakening the relationship between risk perception and digital literacy on QRIS adoption.
