Abstract

Job satisfaction is one of the important factors that can affect employee productivity and loyalty in the organization. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, work environment, and workload on job satisfaction of generation Z employees at Drupadi Wedding Organizer. The approach used in this research is quantitative with survey method. The population in this study were all active generation Z employees at Drupadi Wedding Organizer as many as 50 people who were taken using saturated sampling technique. Primary data were obtained through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression through the SPSS version 27 program. The results of the F test show that the compensation, work environment, and workload variables simultaneously have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Partially, only the compensation variable has a significant effect, while the work environment and workload do not have a statistically significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.403 indicates that 40.3% of the variation in job satisfaction can be explained by these three variables. The results of this study imply that a fair and transparent compensation system is a major factor in creating job satisfaction among Generation Z employees. Keywords: Compensation, Work Environment, Workload, Employee Satisfaction
