Abstract
VERONICA VANIA MILENIARDINE LAKSITADEWI, 18043010211. ANALYSIS OF SURABAYA STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS OF THE MOVIE “LIKE AND SHARE” Sexual violence in Surabaya City is still an education emergency and also an emergency treatment for perpetrators and victims. In this case, the film “Like and Share” is related to cases of sexual violence, especially in the city of Surabaya, it is not uncommon to find cases of sexual violence that are still widely spread in educational areas such as universities in Surabaya. This research aims to analyze Surabaya students' perceptions of the film “Like and Share”. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection in the form of interviews, observations, and literature studies. The findings of this study indicate that there are 3 (three) perceptions, namely that women are a sexual object in the perspective of male gaze, there is a permissive parenting pattern of parents towards teenagers, and women are very vulnerable to becoming victims of online gender-based violence.
