Abstract
ABSTRACT As people grow older, the need for drawing is not just drawing but a medium for communication, the Lettering Time Community is presented as a forum for young people to develop themselves in the arts, especially in the fields of lettering and calligraphy. The Lettering Time Community is a community formed under the guidance of the Better Youth Foundation, and runs in the arts, especially in the art of drawing letters, aka Lettering and Calligraphy. This community is domiciled in Surabaya, founded in 2023, for a community that is still relatively young in its journey. Lettering time is a means for young people to relieve fatigue by writing down complaints during the quarter life crisis. The activities of the Lettering Time community are of course related to the mission of spreading goodness through the media of visual art lettering and calligraphy, one of its routine activities is "Lettering Time Meet Up" where many young people can gather together to study together and share or discuss with each other about lettering and calligraphy. There is a Lettering Time Instagram account as a media for documenting activities with the hope of attracting the attention of the general public to join the activities of this community. However, every week in this community activity is always haunted by the ups and downs of the participants. There needs to be an additional alternative media other than documentation in the form of photos on Instagram to be able to further develop the brand awareness of this community. The media that will finally be implemented and in line with the objectives is a documentary film. The making of this documentary film is expected to clarify and make it easier to convey the message that this community has a unique, inspiring story, and can form an image or character of this community, so that it can be recognized by many other young people. This documentary film will be edited using the Davinci Resolve video editing application and uploaded to the YouTube audio visual platform. Keywords : Documentary Film, Brand Awareness, Community.
