Abstract
Television is a mass media that easily has a direct influence on its audience. Presenting a show that is more interesting means that the audience can easily understand the message conveyed on television. This research aims to find out how the Fact+62 team implements the process of producing news broadcasts on television using the guidelines of the Press Law, Journalism Code of Ethics and P3SPS. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an interpretive paradigm. This research determines the stages of the budgeting process in determining news coverage projections, the coverage production team with press law guidelines. From the results it was found that NET TV in the Fact+62 program has tried to apply journalistic ethics in the news broadcast production process. This is shown in the way they select images, compose narratives, and ensure that the news published on television is adjusted to applicable ethical standards. However, this research also found that there are still several aspects that need to be improved, especially in terms of the use of images and words that could be considered sensitive or inappropriate. This research also shows that during the budgeting process the coverage team consisting of reporters and video journalists is considered to have understood several of the rules used, such as Press Law no. 40 of 1999, the journalistic code of ethics and the applicable Broadcasting Code of Conduct and Broadcast Program Standards.
