Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of workload and work discipline on the job satisfaction of cost center operational staff at PT. Swabina Gatra in Gresik. A quantitative approach was employed. The study population consisted of all 52 permanent cost center operational staff members at PT. Swabina Gatra. A saturated sampling technique was used, meaning the entire population served as the research sample. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, supplemented by interviews and a literature review. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results indicate that workload has a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of the cost center operational staff at PT. Swabina Gatra. Additionally, work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The findings suggest that managing workload in alignment with employee capacity and implementing effective work discipline can enhance job satisfaction. Therefore, the company is encouraged to pay attention to workload balance and improve the implementation of work discipline to foster optimal job satisfaction.
