Abstract

This research in the background by the phenomenon of communication that occurs on the internet through Instagram social networking. A communication can be said to be effective if the individual managed to convey what he means Instagram can also be used as a media campaign, especially Jank-Jank Wings Sidoarjo. Researchers will conduct research to culinary business owners who use Instagram social networking as their initial media to promote their products. This research uses descriptive method, that is research which gives description of description of a state as clear as possible without any treatment to object under study. This method is a method that attempts to give a description of a certain phenomenon in detail, so that finally obtained a clearer understanding of the phenomenon studied. The approach used is a qualitative approach, ie an approach that does not use statistics and use certain numbers. The results of this qualitative study can not be generalized (make general conclusions) or are universal. Data collection was obtained from interviews conducted to the subject through Interview Guide and documentation. Data is analyzed by presenting the data and verifying. The results of this study found the utilization through social media especially Instagram as a media campaign used by JankJank Wings Sidoarjo in promoting its products.
