Abstract
Along with the times and technology, the need for transportation is something that is very important for every community. The transportation industry sector is currently experiencing rapid development, including the car industry. There are various car brands in Indonesia such as Toyota, Honda, Wuling. Mistubishi etc. One of the most famous car brands in Indonesia is Toyota. Of the various types of cars, there is one type of car that is most in demand by consumers in Indonesia, namely a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), one of which is the Toyota Sienta. This car began to be mass-produced, mass-produced at Toyota Karawang, West Java This research was conducted at the Auto2000 dealer, HR Muhammad Surabaya branch, East Java. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of product quality, brand image, and promotion on purchasing decisions. The total sample taken in this study was 60 respondents, using a non-probability sampling method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires with a sample of consumers who bought Toyota Sienta cars at the Auto2000 dealer, HR Muhammad Surabaya branch. This research uses Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis technique. In the results of the study it was found that product quality and brand image had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, promotion has no significant positive effect on purchasing decisions.
