Abstract
The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic several years ago resulted in the Indonesian economy experiencing a decline, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. One of the affected SMEs is the Tenggilis Mejoyo District UMKM. The impact is a decrease in sales of Food and Beverage MSME products. The existence of these problems raises new problems, namely the decline in MSME members. In running a business, entrepreneurs will be faced with problems, even though they are constrained by various problems, entrepreneurs are able to overcome these problems. The existence of self-motivation in running a business can help solve the problem. This study aims to determine the motivation of entrepreneurship and determine the ability of entrepreneurs when facing a problem. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with 30 respondents. This study used correlation analysis of the Spearman rank correlation test and the results showed that the level of entrepreneurial motivation and ability to deal with problems of members of the Tenggilis Mejoyo UMKM was moderate and there was a relationship between entrepreneurship motivation and the ability to face problems.
