Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze employee performance and factors that affect employee performance at the Trade and Industry Office of Jombang Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Primary data comes from five informants selected based on purposive sampling technique. Secondary data comes from articles, reports or documents related to employee performance. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research uses the Miles and Huberman model data analysis technique, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. The data validity test uses four tests are credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The results showed that employee performance was included in the very good predicate based on the AKIP score. The factors that show an influence on employee performance are employee engagement, motivation, emotional intelligence, remuneration, work discipline, and leadership.
