Abstract

This report presents the results of a field internship titled "Front-end Developer: E-Commerce Website Development Using ReactJS," conducted at PT. Hacktivate Teknologi Indonesia from September 6 to December 31, 2024. The project aimed to design and develop a responsive and interactive user interface (UI) for an e-commerce website using ReactJS. By leveraging modern JavaScript libraries, the development focused on performance, user experience (UX), and ease of navigation for customers. The developed website features product search capabilities, a shopping cart system, and API integration for payments, thereby delivering an optimal online shopping experience. This technology also enables efficient component management, supports real-time data updates, and enhances application scalability. The application of ReactJS in this e-commerce website development offers a modern solution for businesses to strengthen their digital presence. Carried out through the Independent Study program at Hacktiv8, the project provided students with practical experience in implementing cutting-edge front-end technologies. The project's outcomes are expected to contribute to an improved online shopping experience while supporting the growth of Indonesia's digital economy.
