Abstract
In the era of digitalization, the need for systems capable of managing transactions effectively and efficiently has become a priority for many companies. PT. Javawebmedia Edukasi, as a provider of information technology services, faces challenges in delivering solutions that meet the business needs of clients in sales management. These challenges include inventory management, transaction recording, sales reporting, and the integration of systems that are easy to use and accessible anytime. These issues highlight the necessity of developing a point of sales (POS) website specifically designed to meet clients’ operational needs in a comprehensive, modern, and tailored manner. The primary goal of developing this POS website is to provide a web-based prototype system featuring a modern and responsive user interface, while focusing solely on the visual presentation without database integration. This prototype aims to help clients visualize the system’s functionalities, such as transaction management, inventory handling, sales reporting, and multi-branch management. With its intuitive interface and responsive design, users can easily understand the system’s workflow and provide feedback to refine further development. Additionally, this system is expected to assist clients in evaluating the design and functionality before proceeding to more complex implementation stages. The methodology employed in developing this POS website prototype includes analyzing client requirements, designing the user interface using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, and conducting display testing to ensure alignment with user expectations. The outcomes of this research and development are expected to serve as a foundation for building a more complete POS system that supports operational digitalization. Consequently, this POS website is envisioned as a preliminary step in delivering relevant, efficient, and adaptive technological solutions for PT. Javawebmedia Edukasi’s clients.
