Abstract

Wismilak Cigars is a premium cigar brand that requires digital media to support information delivery, event management, customer service, and user interaction. Based on observations and interviews, the Wismilak Cigars website was mainly informative and had not fully supported integrated digital engagement activities. Content management, event publication, event registration, customer communication services, and user activity evaluation were not centralized, which could cause delays in information updates, less organized data recording, and difficulties in monitoring user engagement. This research aims to design and develop the Wismilak Cigars website as a digital engagement medium that integrates information management, events, communication, and user evaluation into one web-based platform. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), consisting of requirement planning, RAD design workshop, and implementation stages. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The design was carried out using Unified Modeling Language (UML), database design, and interface design. The developed website provides features, including event management, event registration and payment, live chat, feedback, points and rewards, vouchers, products, outlets, pressroom, gallery, and dashboards for Admin, Manager, Partner, and Customer roles. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing on 150 functional and non-functional test scenarios, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The Black Box Testing results showed that all scenarios achieved successful status. The UAT result obtained a score of 92.4%, categorized as very good. Therefore, the Wismilak Cigars website can support the management of information, events, communication services, and digital engagement activities in a more structured, centralized, and integrated manner.
