Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of self-control and self-reward on Shopee PayLater usage behavior among Accounting students at UPN "Veteran" East Jawa. This study employed a quantitative approach using primary data collected through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to 96 respondents selected using the simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with SmartPLS software. The analysis included tests of convergent validity, discriminant validity, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Composite Reliability, Cronbach's Alpha, and R-Square. The results indicate that self-control has a significant influence on Shopee PayLater usage behavior, where higher levels of self-control encourage more prudent financial decision-making. Furthermore, self-reward also significantly influences Shopee PayLater usage behavior, as planned and responsible selfreward management helps reduce students' dependence on PayLater services as a means of satisfying consumptive desires.
