Abstract
Kebon Agung Sugar Factory is a sugar manufacturing plant that utilizes sugarcane as the main raw material with a production capacity of 15,000 tons/day. The sugar production process is generally divided into several main stations, namely the milling station, purification station, evaporation station, cooking and centrifugal station, and packaging station. In the evaporation stage, the factory employs a multiple evaporator system with a capacity of 533.6792 tons/hour. To reduce operational costs, vapor steam is utilized as a heating medium in the centrifugal station. The main product produced by the factory is SHS sugar packaged in 50 kg bags, while the by-products generated include bagasse, filter cake (blotong), and molasses.
