Abstract

Computer-based information systems have now become an essential element in supporting decision-making and information management across various organizations. One form of information system implementation is to assist individuals in making career decisions through personality tests. Although many platforms provide personality tests using measurement tools such as the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), few platforms have been found that specifically identify a person's type of expertise in the context of the business world, such as "Hacker," "Hipster," or "Hustler." Therefore, this study aims to develop a web-based personality test platform capable of producing results that describe an individual's business expertise using the concept of The Startup Triangle Team. To achieve this goal, this study applies the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which was selected for its ability to accelerate software development through an iterative approach and user feedback. The development process was carried out through four main stages: user requirements analysis, prototype design, application development using React, and API integration to process user data. The development results indicate that the "MARKAS" website is able to provide an interactive experience for users and generate test results relevant to their business expertise. The implementation of the RAD method has proven to accelerate the application development process, enabling the final product to be delivered more quickly and responsively to user needs. This website is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of digitally-based personality test platforms that can support individual career decision-making in the future.
