Abstract
This study aims to analyze promotional strategies through Instagram social media in increasing sales at IKS Clothing Limited. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method using SWOT analysis, with data collection techniques conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the business owner, employees, and customers. The results of this study indicate that the company has strengths such as an active and responsive Instagram account with quality content, but also has weaknesses including the absence of a promotional team and a scheduled content posting system. The opportunities include collaboration with communities and technological advancement, while the threats consist of intense competition and changes in Instagram algorithms. The IFAS results showed a strength score of 2.43 and a weakness score of 0.83. Meanwhile, the EFAS results showed an opportunity score of 2.51 and a threat score of 1.08. Based on the SWOT analysis diagram, IKS Clothing Limited is positioned in Quadrant I by implementing an SO strategy, where the company’s internal strengths can be utilized to optimize opportunities. Therefore, the company can implement an aggressive strategy that supports sustainable business growth in order to increase sales.
