Abstract
This Field Work Placement (PKL) aims to understand and apply user interface development concepts with a focus on web-based Point of Sale (POS) systems at PT. Otak Kanan. During the internship, the student was involved in front-end development using the ReactJS framework and Tailwind CSS, chosen for their ability to accelerate the process of designing and implementing responsive, user-friendly interfaces. The methods employed included literature review, interviews, requirements analysis, and interface design, resulting in an interface that is not only visually appealing but also functional. The results of the internship demonstrated that the use of Tailwind CSS significantly accelerated the UI design process, while ReactJS enhanced application interactivity without page reloads, providing students with valuable practical experience.
