Abstract
The performance of production employees is a crucial factor for manufacturing companies in achieving production targets and maintaining operational continuity. This study found that PT. Aneka Coffee Industry failed to achieve its production targets, which is suspected to be caused by low levels of work discipline and a suboptimal work environment. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and the work environment on the performance of production employees at PT. Aneka Coffee Industry. This study used a quantitative approach, with a population of 151 employees and a sample of 110 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, improving work discipline and the work environment can improve the performance of production employees at PT. Aneka Coffee Industry.
