Abstract
The increase in cases of violence against women and children requires resolution by the relevant agencies responsible for addressing this issue. One such agency is the UPT PPA Provinsi Jawa Timur for the Protection of Women and Children. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of UPT PPA Provinsi Jawa Timur for the in handling women and children who are victims of violence, which is analyzed using Duncan's organizational effectiveness theory, which has three components, namely goal achievement, integration, and adaptation. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. It was found that the organization has implemented. the goal achievement component well through the achievement of targets. There is good integration with a good understanding from employees, and the organization can adapt to environmental changes through policy and technology adaptation. It is concluded that the organization is effective in carrying out its duties in handling women and children victims of violence even though there are problems within the organization, but it can overcome these problems so that it becomes effective.
