Abstract
Tourism requires integrated development strategies to enhance destination competitiveness and sustainability. Loka Asri Sidoarjo has potential as an educational and family-friendly tourist destination; however, its development has not been fully optimized due to limitations in the variety of attractions and activities, facilities, accessibility, and supporting services, thus requiring evaluation based on the 6A components. This study aims to analyze the development strategy of Loka Asri Sidoarjo using the 6A framework (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities, Activities, Ancillary Services, and Available Packages) combined with SWOT analysis. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation, supported by data triangulation to ensure data validity. The results indicate that Loka Asri’s strengths lie in its main attractions such as swimming pools, a green natural environment, and outbound and educational activities; however, limitations remain in facility availability, directional signage, and the integration of tour packages. Development opportunities arise through collaboration with schools, travel agencies, and local community support, while threats stem from competition with similar tourist destinations. The integration of the 6A and SWOT analyses resulted in strategies focusing on facility improvement, revitalization of existing attractions, diversification of nature- and education-based activities, strengthening supporting services, and the development of integrated tour packages through digital promotion. This study concludes that well-directed, innovative, and sustainable development is necessary for Loka Asri to enhance its competitiveness as a tourist destination in Sidoarjo Regency. Keywords: Development strategy, 6A components, SWOT analysis, tourism
