Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation and product innovation on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Dawarblandong District, Mojokerto Regency. MSMEs were chosen due to their crucial role in supporting the local economy while facing challenges related to competitiveness and business sustainability. CSR is considered an external support that strengthens business capacity, while product innovation represents an internal factor essential for adapting to market dynamics and consumer demands. The research employed a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The sample consisted of 120 culinary MSMEs registered in the digital application “Tumbas.” A saturated sampling technique was applied, and data were collected through online questionnaires. The results reveal that CSR significantly and positively influences MSME performance, as indicated by a t-statistic value of 4.730 and a p-value of 0.000. Product innovation also exerts a significant positive effect, with a t-statistic value of 3.511 and a p-value of 0.000. The R-square value of 0.647 indicates that CSR and product innovation explain 64.7% of the variance in MSME performance, while the remaining 35.3% is explained by other factors beyond the model. These findings reinforce Stakeholder Theory and Innovation Diffusion Theory, providing an empirical contribution to the literature on MSME management. Practically, the study suggests that companies should design more targeted CSR programs, while MSMEs are encouraged to enhance product creativity to maintain sustainability and competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic market.
