Abstract
THE EFFECT OF WORKLOAD, LEADERSHIP SUPPORT, AND WORK-LIFE BALANCE ON BURNOUT AMONG EMPLOYEES OF PT. KANSAI PRAKARSA COATINGS SURABAYA Berta Melati, Dra. Siti Ning Farida., M.Si This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, leadership support, and work-life balance on employee burnout. Burnout is a condition of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and decreased self-efficacy often experienced by employees due to ongoing work pressure. Excessive workload, minimal leadership support, and an imbalance between work and personal life are the main factors that can trigger burnout. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method among employees at PT. Kansai Prakarsa Coatings. Data were collected through a questionnaire measuring workload, leadership support, work-life balance, and burnout levels. The analysis showed that workload had a significant positive effect on burnout, while leadership support and work-life balance had a significant negative effect. This study emphasizes the importance of effective workload management, the role of leadership support, and work-life balance in reducing the risk of burnout in employees. These findings provide practical implications for company management in designing healthier work policies and supporting employee well- being.
