Abstract

This research analyzes business strategies using SWOT analysis to increase sales at Toko Kopi Tuku at BP Merr Gas Station Surabaya. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documents from baristas and customers. The results showed that this coffee shop has strengths such as a strong brand with a good reputation and a strategic location, but has weaknesses such as a limited menu and limited seating capacity. Opportunities include increased coffee consumption and technological advances, while threats include intense competition and changing consumer trends. The IFAS score is 3.37, indicating a strong internal position, while the EFAS score of 2.80 indicates that opportunities outweigh threats. The research outlines four alternative strategies namely SO, ST, WO, and WT, all of which are considered effective for increasing sales volume, customer loyalty, and revenue growth. The research also identified some limitations, such as limited access to internal data, small number of informants, and a study of one outlet. The results of this study are expected to guide sustainable business planning for coffee shops in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya.
