Abstract
This study analyzes the influence of lifestyle and self-control on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z in North Surabaya, with financial literacy as a moderating variable. The method used is quantitative, employing a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents, with data analysis conducted through multiple linear regression (SPSS) and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that lifestyle and self-control have a negative and significant influence on consumptive behavior, while financial literacy does not function as a moderator in the relationship between lifestyle and consumptive behavior among Generation Z in North Surabaya. These findings imply the importance of enhancing awareness of healthy lifestyles and self-control to help Generation Z avoid detrimental consumptive behavior, and suggest further research to explore other factors influencing their financial behavior.
