Abstract
This study investigates the effect of ease of use and promotion intensity on the intention to use BNI Wondr QRIS among accounting students at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur. As fintech adoption rises in Indonesia, understanding what drives QRIS usage among financially literate students becomes essential. Using a quantitative approach, 91 students from the 2021–2023 cohorts were surveyed through an online questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 30. The findings reveal that both ease of use and promotion intensity have a positive and significant influence individually and jointly on students’ intention to use QRIS. Ease of use was evaluated through transaction efficiency and clarity, aligned with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), while promotional strategies such as discounts and cashback aligned with the AIDA model proved effective in attracting interest. These results highlight the importance of user�friendly systems and targeted marketing to increase QRIS adoption among Generation Z students. This study offers insights for improving BNI's marketing strategies and enhancing the understanding of digital payment adoption in academic settings.
