Abstract
This study aims to analyze how the financial resilience of traditional traders at Setro Makmur Market in Surabaya. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, utilizing both secondary and primary data. The informants in this study were two administrators and five traditional traders at Setro Makmur Market. Data collection techniques in this study were by means of observation, interviews, and documentation, and data analysis techniques in the study used triangulation and data reduction methods. The results of the study indicate that the financial resilience of traditional traders at Setro Makmur Market is still relatively low due to several factors such as the condition of Setro Makmur Market and the lack of understanding of financial resilience due to the lack of financial literacy and the interest of traditional traders to learn more about financial resilience.
