Abstract

In today’s competitive and dynamic industrial era, companies are required to maintain operational stability and continuously enhance productivity. One of the critical factors contributing to organizational success is employee performance, which is significantly influenced by effective leadership and a conducive work environment. Employees are considered strategic assets who play a vital role in achieving organizational goals. Therefore, improving leadership quality and creating a comfortable work environment are essential efforts. This study aims to examine the influence of leadership on employee performance and the influence of the work environment on employee performance at PT Sararasa Biomass. A quantitative research method was employed, using data analysis techniques based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The population consisted of all 62 production division employees at PT Sararasa Biomass. This research used a saturated sampling technique, in which the entire population was used as the sample. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale. The findings reveal that: (1) Leadership has a significant influence on improving employee performance at PT Sararasa Biomass; (2) The work environment also contributes positively to employee performance at the company.
