Abstract

This Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) aims to implement a data analytics dashboard to help Super Stores gain insights and increase sales. This activity utilizes Amazon QuickSight, a Business Intelligence (BI) platform, to visualize sales data from the previous year. The data used in this study comes from Tableau, including information on products, customers, sales, and shipping. The data analysis process includes data gathering, data cleaning, data analysis, and data visualization. The data gathering phase involves obtaining sales data from Tableau. The data cleaning phase ensures data accuracy and consistency before further analysis. Data analysis utilizes descriptive and exploratory statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, and relationships between variables. The final phase involves data visualization using Amazon QuickSight to present the analysis results in easy-to-understand graphs and tables. The analysis reveals several key findings that can serve as a basis for increasing Super Store sales. First, technology product categories, particularly copiers, are a major contributor to total sales. Second, offering appropriate discounts on specific product categories can increase consumer interest and sales volume. A 50% discount on technology products has been proven effective in increasing sales without harming the perception of product quality. Third, the shipping method chosen by consumers also influences purchase volume. Consumers who choose faster shipping methods tend to make higher-value purchases. Based on these findings, this study provides several strategic recommendations to increase Super Store sales. First, Super Stores need to focus marketing efforts on technology product categories, particularly copiers. Second, companies need to implement appropriate discount strategies for each product category. Third, Super Stores need to provide more flexible and attractive shipping options for consumers, for example by offering free shipping or shipping discounts on certain purchases.
