Abstract
In the midst of an increasingly competitive business climate every year, human resource performance is a key component in determining the success of an organization, including the TAM Syariah Cooperative. As an institution that focuses on sharia-based savings and loan services, this cooperative provides a variety of savings and loan agreement options that can be adjusted to the needs and preferences of its customers. This study has the main objective of examining two crucial factors that influence employee performance at the TAM Syariah Cooperative, namely the level of work discipline and leadership used in the work environment. In its implementation, this study uses a quantitative method, and uses an analysis tool based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is run using the SMART PLS application. All cooperative employees, with a total of 46 people, were used as research samples by applying a saturated sampling technique. The results of the analysis show that both work discipline and leadership have a significant and positive influence on improving employee performance. This finding confirms that improving quality in terms of discipline and strengthening leadership aspects can contribute significantly to work effectiveness and productivity in the organization, ultimately having an impact on fulfilling the cooperative's goals as a whole.
