Abstract
The online food delivery service has experienced rapid growth in line with technological advancements and changes in modern lifestyles. One local service, WiraWiri Bojonegoro, offers food delivery services by partnering with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and street vendors as partners. However, the current system still relies on WhatsApp for order processing and manual driver selection, resulting in long queues and inefficiencies. To address this issue, this research develops a delivery system based on Progressive Web Application (PWA) by implementing the Weighted Product (WP) method. The WP method is used to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of driver selection, while PWA technology provides a responsive, fast user experience that can be accessed both online and offline. In this study, a Progressive Web Application (PWA) based delivery system is developed, featuring real-time notifications and the ability to add the application to the home screen. The Weighted Product method is applied to support the process of searching and selecting drivers based on criteria such as the number of orders, active time, and driver proximity to the vendor. Overall, the features of the delivery system function well based on the results of functionality testing.
