Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of superhero role models in shaping children's character through communication patterns adopted by parents. The qualitative research method involved in-depth interviews with parents introducing superheroes to their children from an early age. The findings indicate that most parents adopt permissive communication patterns, granting their children freedom and using discussions as the primary approach. Others employ authoritarian and democratic patterns. Continuous provision of physical rewards may risk fostering self-interest in children, whereas verbal appreciation encourages discipline and responsibility. These findings provide significant insights into how superhero role models can be effectively utilized in fostering positive character traits in children, depending on the communication patterns employed by parents.
