Abstract
In the era of globalization and increasingly competitive business environments, visual identity plays a crucial role in building a strong and appealing brand. This study focuses on designing a visual identity for Sambal Pecel ‘MT,’ a traditional sambal product from Kediri, Indonesia, established in 1996. The primary objective is to create a consistent, unique, and informative brand identity to enhance competitiveness, protect the brand from counterfeiting, and expand market reach. This research employs a qualitative method, gathering data through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and TOWS matrix analysis. The design elements developed include a logo, color scheme, typography, and packaging, aligning with the brand’s characteristics and consumer needs. The results aim to strengthen the brand's appeal, enhance product image, and support the sustainable growth of Sambal Pecel ‘MT’ in both local and international markets.
