Abstract
This research is a type of quantitative research that aims to determine the characteristics of night sedge flower farmers in Pekoren Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency, the effect of production, demand, and selling prices on the sales volume of night sedge flowers in Pekoren Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency, the feasibility of night sedge flower farming in Pekoren Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency and the obstacles faced by farmers in marketing night sedge flower products in Pekoren Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency The number of farmers used in the study amounted to 48 people. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, secondary data collection, multiple linear regression analysis, and business feasibility analysis. Data analysis techniques using SPSS 16.0 software. The results of the study are the characteristics of Sedap Malam flower farmers in Pekoren Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency if based on age for the highest average age is at the age of 51-60 years with a percentage of 32%. Characteristics based on the highest average gender of night sedge flower farmers are male with a percentage of 61%. Characteristics based on the level of education for the highest average is at the high school education level with a percentage of 52%, Production and demand have a positive effect on sales volume while the selling price has a negative effect on sales volume. The feasibility of the Sedap Malam flower farm in Pekoren Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency has a total cost of Rp. 4,852,598,549, total revenue of Rp. 18,244,525,000, total income of Rp. 8,621,041.87 / Ha / growing season, and an R / C value of 3.75 which means it is feasible and profitable. The constraints faced by farmers in marketing sedap malam flower products in Pekoren Village, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency are that there are still many farmers whose marketing uses middlemen so that farmers get low selling prices, lack of adequate facilities, sedap malam flowers are marketed only at major events such as holidays, religious ceremonies, weddings, and others. This affects marketing, in Sedap Malam farmers in Pekoren Village who have done online marketing only 39% but for farmers' interest in marketing has a percentage of 55% and interest in online marketing training of 51%.
