Abstract

Regional General Hospital Dr. Mohamad Soewandhie Surabaya is at Jalan Tambak Rejo, No.45-47, Tambakrejo, Simokerto District, Surabaya, Java East. As a public health service center that is visited by many people, the house The hospital has problems in terms of providing parking facilities for visitors. The unavailability of parking for visitors causes this to happen on street parking system for visitor vehicles, so that road capacity increases reduce. This hospital area is also a central point for various meetings branch roads (Jalan Tambak Rejo, Jalan Tambak Jati, Jalan Tambak Bening) which Becoming access to and from the hospital results in obstruction of the past traffic during rush hour. In this research, off street parking calculations and planning are used based on the Director General's Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Parking Facilities Land Transportation in 1996. The method applied in this research is direct survey in the field to obtain primary data in the form of parking volume, and parking index. From the results of the survey carried out, parking characteristics can be calculated vehicle to plan the need for off street parking at the planned age of 5 year as well as the probability of arrival and parking services. From the results of calculating the performance of parking characteristics, the distribution of bicycles is obtained motorbikes 1295 vehicles and cars 241 vehicles. Average length of time to park a motorbike 0.86 hours and car 2.46 hours. Motorbike parking turnover is 0.54 vehicles/hour and car 0.29 vehicles/hour. The parking index value for motorbikes is 1.42 and cars 1.94. Parking space for motorbikes 150 SRP and cars 50 SRP. Bicycle parking area motorbikes 390 m2 and cars 1213 m2 . Probability value of motorbike arrival patterns highest P(x) = 0.124127 and car P(x) = 0.27067. Service pattern probability value the highest motorbike ρ = 0.7905 and car ρ = 0.7657. After that it was planned off street parking facilities in the form of a parking building at the Regional General Hospital dr Mohamad Soewandhie Surabaya by providing motorbike parking 302 SRP and 70 SRP car which corresponds to a planned life of 5 years.
