Abstract

PT United Tractors Tbk is part of a leading business group in Indonesia with a wide service network covering various industries and sectors. The company operates through five main business pillars, namely Construction Machinery, Mining Contracting, Mining, Construction Industry, and Energy. With rapid growth and increasing operational complexity, PT United Tractors Tbk continuously strives to improve its efficiency and competitiveness. One of the strategies implemented is the integration of the latest information technology into its business processes. This step is crucial in addressing the evolving challenges of globalization and digitalization. To support this digital transformation, PT United Tractors Tbk conducts the Field Work Practice (PKL) program and the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Internship Program, which has now reached its sixth batch. This program aims to provide students with practical experience in a real business environment and to develop innovative solutions that can be directly implemented by the company. During the implementation, MBKM participants are distributed across all divisions within PT United Tractors. During the internship period, the author was assigned to the Service Division. The Service Division is responsible for managing the warranty and claim operation processes at PT United Tractors. In carrying out its tasks, the service team at the Head Office works collaboratively with service teams at branch offices and sites. Currently, the service team requires a system that contains guidelines for taking EMILADO photos, which led to the development of an Android-based application project called “EMILADO Plus.” The “EMILADO Plus” application was developed using the Flutter framework. Flutter is an open-source framework from Google that uses the Dart programming language to build uniform and attractive user interfaces across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, web, and others. The advantages of Flutter include hot reload for rapid development, reusable code with modular widgets, high performance supported by the Skia rendering engine, and the ability to use a single code base for multiple platforms. With rich documentation and strong community support, Flutter facilitates efficient cross-platform application development with high design consistency. The final outcome of the Field Work Practice is the “EMILADO Plus” application, which is expected to provide convenience for branch and site service teams in accessing detailed and easily accessible guidelines.
