Abstract
PLN UP3 South Surabaya is one of the implementing units under the State Electricity Company (PLN) which is responsible for customer service in the Surabaya area. UP3 (Customer Service Implementation Unit) plays an important role in ensuring reliable electricity distribution and optimal service to customers in its coverage area. There are a number of cases of work accidents involving workers/employees of PLN UP3 South Surabaya. In addition to cases of work accidents which are quite increasing, cases of excessive working hours are also something that worries workers/employees of PLN UP3 South Surabaya, excessive working hours can cause various problems. health, such as sleep disorders, stress, illness and mental disorders such as depression and anxiety, this causes employee work productivity to decrease. The aim of the research is to describe the effectiveness of the occupational safety and health program run by PT. PLN UP3 South Surabaya. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification The theory used is the theory of effectiveness according to Budiani (2007:53) in (Hamim Ihsanudin, 2023) who writes that effectiveness can be measured using 4 dimensions, namely: Accuracy of program targets, program socialization, achievement of program objectives, and program monitoring. The research results show that the effectiveness of the occupational safety and health program implemented by PT. PLN UP3 South Surabaya can be said to be good because it has provided a sense of comfort and satisfaction to employees. However, there are still several shortcomings related to improving communication which is still lacking, needs to be strengthened regarding training, and adapting approaches to employee backgrounds.
