Abstract
Digitalization is the process of converting printed information into digital form. The benefits of digitalization include efficiency and optimization of databases, as well as file security from various forms of disasters. The use of databases is one form of digitalization. By using a database, users can store, organize, and search data more effectively compared to using books. Storage in a database is not limited to just text; images and videos can also be stored in the database according to the user's needs. This fieldwork aims to provide solutions to the problems we found during our fieldwork at the institution we were placed in. The solution we provide is digitalization through the use of databases. The solutions we offer include: creating a website that can store document correspondence data, creating a website as a database for storing important data, and creating a database application that can store document correspondence data. We developed the website using PHP and the MySQL database. For the application, we used Microsoft Access. With the creation of this website and application, it is hoped that the institution will find it easier to store, organize, and share documents.
