Abstract

CV. XYZ is a company engaged in the manufacture of wiremesh and iron pipes based on market demand and continuous production processes on a medium scale. CV.XYZ production activities in 2023 to 2024 still cannot reach the target and there are fluctuations in production results every month. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of knowing the current level of productivity and being able to provide proposals to increase the productivity of galvanized box pipe production size 34 x 34 x 4,000 cm in the future. The method used is Objective matrix (OMAX) with the determination of criteria weights using the AHP method. The criteria used in this study are raw materials, labor, pipe machine working hours, worker working hours, electrical energy and defective products. This study aims to determine the level of partial productivity. The average value of partial productivity for raw materials is 93.54%, labor is 3,679 (bars/person/month), machine hours are 225 (bars/hour/month), worker hours are 222 (bars/hour/month), electrical energy is 69.58%, and defective products are 1.02%. The highest productivity level occurred in October 2023 at 706.4% and the highest productivity index occurred in July 2023 at 622.8%. The lowest productivity level occurred in June 2023 at 50.8% and the lowest productivity index occurred in November 2023 at -86.7%. Improvements were made on all criteria, especially on labor criteria and pipe machine working hours. With the application of OMAX and RCA methods, CV. XYZ can increase productivity and identify all factors that cause a decrease in company productivity in the future
