Abstract

The Instagram account @Greenpeace.id presents environmental activities and campaigns carried out in Indonesia. Greenpeace Indonesia provides content showcasing visual documentation of various actions such as peaceful demonstrations, environmental protests, and volunteer activities. This research aims to understand the messaging trends in the content of the Instagram account @Greenpeace.id during the period from November 28, 2023, to February 10, 2024. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method to explore the tendency of @Greenpeace.id Instagram content during the 2024 election campaign. Three coders assisted in analyzing a sample of 53 pieces of content from @Greenpeace.id during the 2024 election campaign. The research findings demonstrate that climate crisis has the highest frequency value in the message topic category. In the message tone category, counter messages have the highest frequency value, while in the message form category, the persuasive sub-category shows the highest frequency value. The mix sub-category has the highest frequency value in the message target category.
