Abstract
The media continues to evolve and adapt, especially the radio that has to survive in the digital age. To attract public attention and raise awareness of the radio, the radio company needs to pay attention to its audience. Besides, effective content creation is essential to attract audience interest. One of the social media selected in this study is Instagram from Radio Gen 103.1 FM Surabaya, which has an audience characterized by a young soul. This study aims to study how the use of Instagram by Radio Gen 103.1 FM Surabaya as a means of promoting streaming programmes in order to digital transformation of radio media. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through interviews, literature studies, and observations. The results of this research show that Radio Gen 103.1 FM Surabaya uses Instagram to promote streaming programmes through video and image content using various features of Instagram. In addition, Radio Gen 103.1 FM Surabaya identifies potential through four pillars of success according to Tucker (2013) in content creation, namely readers goals, your objectives, content topics, and tone of voice.
